Dr. James Boylan, B.Sc. (Hons.), D.C.

Education

Dr. Boylan completed his secondary education at Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate in Scarborough. He achieved his Bachelor of Science, Honours degree, Specialized Biology with a minor in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph in 1986. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Boylan continues his education by attending conferences and seminars.

Background

Dr. Boylan grew up in Scarborough. After graduating from the University of Guelph he worked as a quality control chemist for Novopharm Ltd. He completed his first year of Chiropractic College at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minnesota and transferred back to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to complete the remaining 3 years in the Doctor of Chiropractic program.

Dr. Boylan is married to Christina and they have three daughters. Besides taking part in the girls’ activities, he enjoys being active in their church and keeping fit by swimming five times a week. In addition he enjoys cooking, reading, music (he plays piano and accordion) and spending time at their summer retreat near Peterborough.
